Hannah Galley
Advisor
Hannah Galley is a specialist in communications and has advised political leaders, major corporates, and NGOs on their approach to media, reputation, and political strategy.
Between 2023 and 2024, she worked as a Special Advisor in the Ministry of Justice, where she advised the Lord Chancellor and Justice Secretary, Alex Chalk, and the Ministerial team on media engagement. She gained a deep knowledge of the justice landscape in the UK and oversaw the government’s response to issues spanning prisons, probation, the courts, the Horizon scandal, and access to justice.
Prior to this, Hannah was a Senior Consultant at a global communications agency, where she provided strategic advisory on complex litigation and disputes. Her clients included high-net-worth individuals, major corporates, NGOs, and charities. She worked on class action, judicial review, and commercial litigation cases with clients based in the US, Europe, and Africa.
Throughout her career, Hannah has worked in fast-paced environments, including two years spent at Tesco during the pandemic where she handled day-to-day reactive media and specialised in human rights and animal welfare. She started her career as a civil servant in the Ministry of Justice and worked at No 10 Downing Street, giving her an in-depth understanding of British policymaking, government processes, and the political landscape.
Hannah is passionate about more women entering politics and in 2024 embarked on her own political career when she was elected to Westminster City Council, representing the area of London in which she lives.
