Claire Fyfe
Chief Operating Officer
Claire has over 15 years’ experience working in communications agencies. Having started her career in commercial advertising leading campaigns for brands such as Jaguar Land Rover, IKEA, and Nissan she has spent the last six years of her career applying her expertise to strategic communications. During this time, Claire has managed teams across multiple countries to deliver best-in-class domestic and international communications campaigns in more than 30 countries for the US, UK, and Australian governments. Previous campaigns have focused on resilience and stabilisation efforts in some of the world's most challenging environments, where she is experienced in building and managing effective teams. She has extensive experience working on communications projects in conflict-affected states, including the Middle East and Eastern Europe, and is well-versed in working with on-the-ground teams to formulate tailored content for public-facing audiences.
Claire works across Atalanta’s client base to ensure effective and cost-efficient delivery of project objectives. Key to this success is her approach to building successful teams and designing processes tailored to each client’s particular circumstances. She has extensive experience in project management of complex programmes and coordinating multiple stakeholder groups. Claire also leads on recruitment, team development, and creating an organisational culture that aligns with Atalanta’s core values.
Alongside her position with Atalanta, Claire is Chair of Trustees for the human rights charity ‘Protection Approaches’. She has worked alongside the co-founders since its inception eight years ago with a desire to support the charity in its mission to tackle the ever-present and growing threat of identity-based violence in our communities. As Chair, she works to ensure strategic aims and charitable objectives are met, as well as a number of other duties and functions relating to the sustainable success of the organisation.
