Carly Kilgore

Carly began her career in Washington, DC working in the U.S. House of Representatives. Carly first served on the legislative staff for a Member of Congress on the Ways and Means Committee, and then for a Member on the House Appropriations Committee. During her years on Capitol Hill, Carly gained experience in policy-making, communications, and stakeholder management.
Carly specialised in appropriations, trade, energy, economic development, natural resources, agriculture, transportation, and infrastructure policy. Carly worked closely on the FY22 and FY23 Appropriations Packages, authoring and advocating for funding allocations to district-specific priorities within her policy portfolio, such as conservation agriculture and renewable energy programs. She also played a pivotal role in securing funding for several community projects that have bolstered economic security and rural development.
Carly left Washington, DC to complete a Master’s in International Political Economy from King’s College London, and she holds a Bachelor’s from the University of Richmond (Virginia) in International Business and Leadership Studies.
At Atalanta, Carly supports several clients with their public affairs, media strategy, and implementation.
