Billy Hill
Associate Director
Billy joined Atalanta in 2019 as an Account Manager, supporting clients across multiple sectors on communications and digital strategy, stakeholder engagement, and public affairs. He joined the Senior Leadership team in 2021 and was promoted to Associate Director in 2024.
Before joining Atalanta, Billy worked in the tech and NGO sector. Following roles at the music magazine NME, and Comic Relief, Billy joined The ONE Campaign, a nonprofit co-founded by Bono focused on ending extreme poverty, as their UK and Ireland Campaigns Manager.
He worked on successful public campaigns to introduce UK public registers of beneficial ownership and campaigned for the adoption of the International Development Act to enshrine the UK government’s commitment to 0.7% on overseas aid spending. During his time at ONE, Billy also led several high-profile events with speakers, including the then-Foreign Secretary, the Irish Taoiseach, and the Lord Speaker of the House of Lords.
In 2018, Billy joined U2’s eXPERIENCE + iNNOCENCE Tour to work with over 600 volunteers across 33 European shows. In the same year, Billy was nominated for Bond’s Outstanding Individual Award to recognise his campaigning and advocacy work with ONE.
Following this, Billy worked in Airbnb’s UK public policy team as a Community Organiser—working to build a stronger host community across the UK. During his time at Airbnb, he formally launched Airbnb’s first UK Community Board, an initiative to bring together select “superhosts” across the country to advise Airbnb on its strategy. Billy also worked closely on several leading policy initiatives, including Airbnb’s Short-term Lets Registration White Paper and Airbnb’s work across Scotland.
