Earlier this month, Atalanta partnered with NationBuilder to host Women Who Win—an event bringing together political activists, campaign managers, and consultants from around the globe to explore trends in women running for office and winning elections.
The event opened with a powerful keynote from Lea Andres, NationBuilder CEO, who highlighted the need for more women leaders at every level of government, from hyper-local to national: “No matter where you are, or what phase of the process you’re in: we need you.”
Atalanta Founder & CEO, Eva Barboni, then led a series of rolling interviews with six inspirational women in the political space. The panel of speakers, who joined us from the US, UK, Latin America, and Africa, offered global perspectives into the opportunities and challenges facing women in public life.
The evening was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on the triumphs of women-led movements over the past 12 months and celebrate the women leaders promoting systemic change. Thank you to all the panellists for their insights into how we can bring the next generation of women who win to the fore.
