Atalanta expands high-level, cross-sector expertise as it formalises advisory board

Atalanta has announced two new Senior Advisors, expanding its expertise across the finance, public health, and education and skills sectors.

Shirley Cramer CBE, former Chief Executive Officer of the Royal Society for Public Health and Interim Chief Executive of Alzheimer’s Research UK brings deep health sector experience to Atalanta. She also brings a wealth of expertise in the education and skills space from her work for the Learning and Skills Council, Dyslexia Action, and the Department of Business, Innovation, and Skills.

Don Hunter brings extensive experience in the finance sector, having served as Managing Director and Global Head of Global Markets Communications and Head of UK Communications at Deutsche Bank. He has also served as an advisor to HSBC, Royal Bank of Scotland, and Lloyds Banking Group. Don also bolsters Atalanta’s public relations capabilities, having started his career in journalism and supported FTSE 100 and Fortune 500 clients with top-tier media engagement.

Shirley and Don join Senior Advisors Philip Davies, Mike Rann, and George Kronnisanyon Werner to form a new Advisory Board, which will not only provide strategic guidance and insight to Atalanta’s roster of clients across the public, private, and third sectors but will also help advise the agency on its growth strategy.

Founder and Executive Chair, Eva Barboni, said: “Over the last several years, our clients have benefited from the expertise of our network of Senior Advisors, who have served at the highest levels of governments, multilateral institutions, large-scale NGOs, and multinational businesses. By formalising our Advisory Board, we will help foster greater collaboration between these advisors, drawing on their deep sectoral expertise to deliver impact for our clients—and for Atalanta.”

CEO, Elizabeth Ames, added, “I am delighted to welcome Shirley and Don as they join Atalanta’s Advisory Board. Across my career I have seen the importance of senior, cross-sectoral boards for organisational growth and development. I look forward to working alongside Eva and our outstanding Senior Advisors to accelerate our impact for clients.”
