Atalanta is pleased to announce our accreditation as a Living Wage Employer alongside a move to the B Corp-certified office space x+why Holborn.
We join over 11,000 employers across the UK that are committed to paying their staff a living wage, at a time when rising inflation and cost of living pressures are forecast to push over five million employees into below living wage salaries over the next year.
The official certification by the Living Wage Foundation, recognises Atalanta’s commitment to fair remuneration policies across the company. Not only has Atalanta paid real living wage salaries to all employees—including interns—since its foundation in 2015, we also prioritise pay transparency, publishing annual pay brackets at all levels and including pay bands in all job listings.
Alongside the Living Wage accreditation, Atalanta has recently moved into x+why Holborn, a B Corp-certified office space which is committed to hosting organisations dedicated to responsible business. This move reflects our ambition to become a certified B Corporation in 2023.
Elizabeth Ames, COO said: “In line with Atalanta’s mission to deliver lasting impact on issues that matter to people and the planet, we are committed to the financial well-being of our staff. Fair and transparent remuneration is a cornerstone of our company culture, and we are pleased this has been recognised by the Living Wage Foundation. Our recent move into x+why’s B Corp-certified office space is the next step in our ambition to secure B Corporation certification in 2023—recognising our overall commitment to measuring and managing our social and environmental impact to deliver positive change.”
